Paintseal Direct exterior sealant is a technologically more superior treatment compared to abrasive polishes and silicone based waxes. It protects paintwork from the damaging effects of UV rays and acid rain as well as preventing fading of the exterior panels which happens over time. Glamourshield / Supagard

This product was used in the car industry, and has been around for a considerable length of time. We applied these products ourselves in 2004, and we found that both the exterior paint sealant and fabric 'protector' was not of sufficient strength for the caravan,motorhome, and boat markets. We also found that the fabric protection application posed a serious health hazard as it is administered via aerosol spray. It is not an environmentally friendly product, and did not fit in with our environmental and recycling policies.
 Supagard is widely available at a low cost, to the DIY market, via auction websites such as ebay or from local valeting companies.

After moving away from using Supagard, we started applying Aglaze products, which we found to be a more superior product to Supagard, and complied with our environmental policies due to non-aerosol products. However, this product is geared towards the DIY market, as we found it to last between 12 and 18 months before reapplication is required.

Please note - we do not recommend you undertake DIY paint and fabric protection. Customers who have applied products themselves have, in most cases experienced very short term results, and poor quality products
